In the year 2002 (February) Breakfast And A Word™ was born as the first public arm of Great Heritage Ministries and is the most visible activity of the ministry that involves the greatest number of people. Breakfast And A Word™ is so named because this service combines a wonderful full hot breakfast with an inspiring sound teaching. Its focus and goal is to provide edification, inspiration and fellowship for people of all ages, races, class and denominations. The season of Breakfast And A Word™ goes from the first Saturday of October and each month thereafter until the first Saturday in June. The host site is the four diamond Westin Hotel (1500 Town Center) in Southfield, MI that is centrally located and accessible to every person with any need. The 2009-10 Breakfast season begins on Saturday October 3, 2009. Each Breakfast begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. and ends at noon. All are welcome and there is no admission charge. Reservations are required and can be made at reservations@greatheritage.org.

In March of 2007, we took the love and Word of Christ to women in a residential facility, who might otherwise not be as free to worship as they would desire. This facility is a ministry unto itself in that it serves as a place of transition for those who are recently released from prison, homeless, battling drug addictions or being sheltered from abusive relationships. It is a privilege for GHM to provide a worship service and teaching on Sunday mornings at Heartline.
